I put mine on 3 finger tight, meaning I held the wrench in 3 fingers and the pulley with a strap wrench. When i could not tighten any more with 3 Fingers stopped, my 2.2 pulley has been on this way for 100,000 mi so i think its ok.

Urd will send you install instructions with the pulley. You may need a gear puller/pulley remover to get it off though. You may also need to lightly scuff the inside of the pulley to get it to fit onto the Sc shaft. I want to say it was 32ft lbs for the nut.

Well, for that size of threads and what the bolt is holding, 30lb-ft sounds about right. I've discovered, using a 5/16-20 bolt, washer and nut in a vise as a guinea pig, that when I snug a bolt down on a nut it equals roughly 10lb-ft. When I tightened it about a quarter turn more it equaled roughly 25lb-ft. Just some food for thought if you don't have a torque wrench on hand.

Look for burrs on the pulley, when new my supergrip pulley wore out a new belt after about 3000 miles, after that is been good. I think the burrs wore off now.
