Supercharger install ?? Richmond VA.

Okay odered the supercharger it is in the mail and should be getting it this afternoon (what UPS says), any one in the Richmond,Va area installed one of these before ?? Think I will do it myself but at this time just figured I ask how difficult and is it more or less plug and play thing since I haven't gotten the instructions to look over yet.
And if there is anyone that has experience and wants to help that be great . Should I replace the plugs now or wait till after I get it all up and running ? to rule out problems.

Thanks

My friend owns East Coast Tint and Performance. He helped me lift my truck and has a great knowledge of superchargers and turbos. He would be more than willing to do the install. WE are also becoming an Amsoil dealer, so now would be the best time to switch all fluids and plugs. Give him a call. His name is T.J. 804 873 6130

It was a very easy install with a ratchet/socket set and some metric wrenches. You could do it with $10 worth of tools from Wal-Mart and in about 4-5 hours even if you didn't know anything about the engine as long as you can read and follow directions. The instructions are clear and has pics to help you along. I did mine in my garage in less than 3 hours and I read every step twice before attempting anything, then usually read the step after it was complete to make sure that I did it right.

Thanks for the info on that Filth (might call for a price anyways) but I think I can hanlde the install with some help from my brother inlaw plus get some undertanding on how it goes on, his garage is full of tools. Ran home for lunch to grabed the box (ups said it was delivered) tossed it in the back of the runner but it didn't come with instructions in it guess the price you pay for a remanufacted unit at a good price. I am going to call the dealer to see if they have directions he can email me or send me. Anyone here with the manual online anywhere ??
Also do I need any gaskets, I opened all the boxes looks like everything is there except any gaskets, should I order any new ones now ?
Oh the tensiner came with directions in its box just not the supercharger.

P.S> I have a full install manual.

P.P.S> Tensioner can look like it does not fit...I'll give you the skinny.

P.P.P.S> DO you have a new inlet manifold intake plenum gasket ???

Its the 6 holer that goes where the intake comes off and SC goes on...you will need one.

Go to www.trdusa.com and download the manual.

It gives you a yota part# for that gasket.

I guess I have been bitten by the bug this last year...HARD (thanks YT). I have spent some $, but I have also tried to do things smart by picking up used or previously owned stuff at much lower than retail costs. I also fabricate some things on my own and then sell off the parts I've removed. So I really don't have as much $ into it as it appears.

To answer your question: I have not added any fuel mods. Since I am at 5k feet about sea level it doesn't seem to be an issue as long as I run 91 octane. I am sure it would be nice to have the 7th injector or the URD kit, but I have decided to enhance the off-road ability first.

Okay more stupid questions ??
The TRD boast gauge pod what did you all use to paint it to match the tan interior(came black), also how did you route the cable and vacum tube behind it (drill a big hole and removed the trim), pictures would be great. Also were did you punch thought the firewall at for hookup to the supercharger ??

Thanks again for all the info so far....
