i want one. no money though and i think it would be a lot better to get a v6 and supercharge it before i supercharge the ol' 4 banger.

ok I want one ... here is what I'm thinking outloud though:

last december they came on Ebay for $1650, same the year before. Maybe it will happen again this year.

second point, waiting for Gadget to put something together, and see how much it will cost. and factor that in as well. add up the total cost, and compare it to cost of a v8 swap, if only a difference of less then a thousand, might be worth getting the v8, rather then supercharging a v6, and trying to tweak it to work just right.

Angry Dang.

Man its really quite a shame that e-bay quit letting people sell their vital organs! But anyway, i think that i'd rather have a new motor before i supercharge my 3.slow. I'm trying to see if i can fit that supra twin turbo in my truck.

But good luck on the super chargers fellas.

If the price goes low enough I would buy one because I WILL have a 3.4 in my truck someday it's only a matter of time at this point to gather parts and get some down time on the truck.

UK, if you go through with it and post a writeup....
... I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it became THE future mod for 2nd gens!

No reason for the 3rd and 4th gens to have all the fun....

im leaning towards a TRD supercharger for my 3rd gen as well but there seem to be so many threads on this subject i got a little lost in all the information/oppinions that i talked myself out of it. if there does become availabilty for a group buy please let me know.
i am definitely intrested! if i could just pinpoint what exactly i need to order is the ultimate question, i wish one of the toyota superbrains could sum-up so to speak and give us some solid advice. thanks to everyone who responds in advance!

so many people in need but so little that has info for progress......

BTW we are trying to get TRD SC and maybe a TRD tensioner I'm not even gonna try to mess around with buying computers, injectors.....etc. there's no end when it comes to this. If I spent all that money and kill warranty i'd shoot myself. The supercharger itself is so pricey right now...i remember it used to be around 1700 at some online TRD dealers around winter, hoping that offer will come later this year as well, for the time being hope this works out. My goal is to spend less than $2500(TRD T-cooler, SC tensioner, dealer install) hopefully this works out.

If I understand this post correctly, someone is gathering numbers for a proposed SC group buy.

If this is correct count me in, I'll buy at the $1700 price.

I'm not able to spend much time online, so please e-mail me if this moves forward.

Unhappy Too late for me...

Wow, this is too late for me, I just got mine off Ebay for $2100 plus $60 s&h, but still better than the stealer for ~$3000. Also installed it myself, eliminating the stealership all together!
