Supercharger belt question

Supercharger belt question
Im exploring options to have a whole lot more power from my runner and was wondering where the supercharger belt goes? I know it goes around the SC pulley but in pictures it looks like it goes down to the alt. but that doesnt make sense. The reason I ask is because I have an aftermarket alt. and was wondering if it would affect going SC'd at all.
