Supercharger for 1997 T4R

I am considering purchasing a supercharger but I'm curious on anyone's experience with one without the 7th injector kit. I understand that the 7th injector is not made for my 97, and don't want to spend the money if it's just going to be starved for fuel.

There are a fair ton of threads about this, and as a "in-progress-wannabe", I can't give much of an answer, but after reading about a million threads, I decided to go with the URD kit to supplement the SC, which *will* work on the 97.

Just do a search here on URD and you'll get a ton of material, both with and without their kit, and opinions on whether or not it is needed for your application.

Thanks, Scott. I had been through about 10 pages worth of searching simply on "supercharger" and didn't really get an answer regarding a 97. I'll try the URD search.

Yes you will need fuel (and timing) control - there are alternatives to the 7th injector setup.

For a piggyback controller, you'll find that URD endorses the Split Second product line, I prefer the products from Perfect Power:

URD's complete fuel upgrade kit (non-7th) is here:
