stupid bearing question.

dumb question maybe... but i need an answer... so here it is:

is the throwout bearing the same as the pilot bearing? the same as the main bearing? (are all 3 the same...??)

I hope this is not a loaded question so I'll make it brief.
NO they are all different. Main bearing holds your crankshaft in, throwout bearing is what pushes in on you clutch to ingage and disingage your presureplate, the piolot bearing is a small bearing in the end of your crankshaft which your transmition shaft goes into.
