I am wondering what I will need to do to level out the back if I get 4" of ifs lift in the front? I currently have downey hd's in the back with ranchos all around.. Us trying to find out the best way to get this thing level .. ALso what size tires would fit best with no BL? Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times but I turned up nothing with a search.. Thanx for any help

What type of 4" inch are you planning to go with?

 

you could buy some 5 inch lift springs for www.allprooffroad.com.

 

trying to get a pro comp st 2.. But I need to figure out how to get the back up there without going higher than the front with the 5 inches in the back.. please help.

What vehicle do you have? Also, try the flashing green button that says "search"....

 

OME 860 or 863, longer control arms and a panhard drop/raise would be my guess.

If all you want is 33's, I will take your grand for the suspension lift and put on a bodylift for you.

If it is a pickup just go with some Alcan leaf springs. If it is a 4-runner I don't know.

I have a 94 runner.. I posted this previously.. But for some reason nothing showed up.. But I am trying to just get this for milfd off roading.. Not rock climbing and stuff.. Basically this is just a daily driver until I get my turbo Focus back up and running.. I would go with body lift but I just basically want to get it off the ground a little more and put some bigger tread on it.. I already have the downey hd's on the back and I am tempted to just get some 25mm torsion bars and crank it up with a 1" BL and put 33's on it but I would like a little more than that.. ANy help would be greatly appreciate.. I have read all the way through all the search stuff and it really only gave me mixed reviews.. All I would like to know is what to do in the back to get it level with 4" in the front.. I am not buying this new.. SO that is why I am really trying to figure this out.. thanx

I'd say body lift also for 33's. I have a 2" body lift, no problems and I'm pretty sure I could fit 33's easy, if you need a little more after the body lift use coil spacers and crank torsion bars. I think you could do like 2" BL ($100), 1 3/4" spacers (under $100) and crank torsion bars (if new ones are needed I think they're under $100 also ) and you could have almost 4" for under $300 easy.

 

Yeah, go with those 4" Allpro springs, Or you could just be a redneck and get some 4" blocks for the back.. Either way your gonna need new shocks.

 

I don't think there are prices on their website. Id look under their dealer locator and see if one of them have prices.

 

He can't do blocks in the back...he has coils, not leafs.

you can call order the rear PC lift kit for your 4runner from places like 4wheel parts or performance products. i don't know the part number but it will include the drop brackets to lower the rear suspension.

another alternative is what all pro offers, you'll have to order the parts seperately. since you have the HD coils, then get a set of 2.25" coil spacers, upper and lower control arms, and the panhard bracket lift. this way, you don't have to worry about drop brackets and a rear clearance issue. instead of using your HD coils and the coil spacer, they also offer a 5.5" coil but you'll still need the upper/lower control arms and panhard bracket.

but then again, it would be cheaper just to get the PC rear kit.

I just done a 4 inch trailmaster on my 1990 4runner. I measured all corners. I used trailmaster coils which you can buy by themselves, my rear bumper came up 5 inches. The coil was not 5 inches longer than the stock coil and I was woried about the sagging but trailmaster uses a wire that is .100 thicker than the stock spring wire. This makes the rear sit higher and the ride is not stiff either. I am happy. Let me know if you need the part number and price.
