Power Door Guts???

In my 95 runner, power locks, windows and the like, I have lost functional power locking in the driver's door.

Behind the door skin, there is a whole mess of wires, control boxes and crap that seem to be way overkill for what needs to get done in my door.

In Moab this summer, a piece of my window track fell to the bottom of the door, rattled, but did not cause any problems. As a result, I pulled it out and forgot about it.

Now it seems that piece buggered some wiring causing the end of power driver's door lock. This would not be a problem except that I have key-less entry which is not sort of worthless since the driver's door does not lock with power.

The switch that I need is $150 new and the control module that I may need is better than $400.

Is there any better way to fix this?

Does anyone have a rig they are parting that I could pillage the stuff from? I have called the yards locally and none of them have Toyotas with power locks, only a few even had Toyotas.

You might try taking the switch apart and cleaning the contacts. That worked for my power window switches last summer.

There is a large module that has some wires sheared off from the falling bracket.

Anyone else have even an idea?
