I am doing a 3.4 swap with a engine that i picked up from the junkyard. I just noticed that the power steering pump tention bracket stud or bolt that mounts on the block is broken off flush with the block. The question is: does the tension bracket get bolted to the block or does a stud come from the block? Thanks.

 

Are you talking about the one that's about 1" to the side of the fake water pump pulley? It's a stud on mine.
