I've Searched...Leather Question..

Hey Folks,

Quick question for ya all.
What parts of the "leather interior" on a 2000 Limited are really leather, and what parts are just vinyl? Some of it is obviously easy to tell, but some I'm not sure. I ask because on all Jeeps (and Im sure in most vehicles) a leather interior is not really......(i.e. only the middle portion of the seats are leather)

I searched and read for about 2 days on this, and I cant find any answers.

In this same vein, if I just use my MacGuire's leather care products on ALL of the interior, will it protect the damn vinyl as well?

Thoughts and experience are appreciated.

James

Well the seats are leather, and the centre console cover is leather, and the steering wheel. pretty sure the 4x4 shifter boot is too. the side panels im not sure at all. Some leather cleaners and conditioners say not to use on other fabrics. I would recommend switching to Lexol cleaner and conditioner for your leather.

Thanks for the replies guys!
I'll keep my MacGuire's for now... just cause it makes the leather look good and I like the smell

What about the backs of the front seats and the middle area of the back seat?

Thanks again,

James
