Hi All,

Am wiring an electric trailer brake controller in 03 Tacoma. Directions say to splice one of the wires in on the switched side of the stoplight/brake switch. I located the switch, but the wires are so short and anchored I can't get to them. Anyone know of another location for this wire, color code, etc.?

Also, does anyone know if I can just splice the brake controller stoplight switch wire into the wire that goes to my trailer stoplights? Seems like that would do the same thing (it's hot when the lots are on, off when they're not, I think...)

Found it! With the help of tech support for brake controller, they said "look for the green/white wire." I located it on the first try, FYI for this board, on the floor in the wire bundle next to the door seal, '03 Tacoma. 'best, Lou
