Does anyone know if someone makes pre-fab bolt-on steps going up to the roof? Here in Kenya, I see many Land Cruisers with metal loops bolted to the corners for steps up to the top. I'd love something like that. Unfortunately, the 4runner (Hilux Surf) can't do the corner steps since the door is there. the steps would have to be on the side, or maybe some other solution. I'm thinking the side panels can't hold the weight, but there must be some solution since some models have the tire holder bolted on there.

Any thoughts or solutions out there? Anyone seen photos or previous topics/threads on this?

 

i dont know of any kits but if youre good at fabricating you could bend tube to go down under the body on the side behind the rear tire and weld it or find a way to bolt it to the frame then have the ladder run up the side and either weld or bolt it to a roof rack that you have
