lol yeah

UPDATE: Got the Belt Dressing and the Alternator Cleaner

I tired the Belt Dressing and no change in sound what so ever.

Now next question, do I have to pull the alternator to clean it of and I spray the cleaner right on the alternator?

UPDATE:
Well my alternator is all nice and clean...
But I have that god awful noise...
I think it may be the belts after all though
See I went to make a U-turn today and I had the wheel turned all the way hard, and guess what, it started to squeal and the dash lights started to dim down really low...
What else is on the belt for the power steering besides the power steering pump?
I am going to talk to mom tomorrow and go buy belts.
I wont be able to change them myself but will be taking Tess to a guy I trust (he did my rear seals and bearings for half the cost of the stealership)
And ask him to change them, if the problem persist then we know we have to look into everything else...

Hmm, lights dimming points to an electrical problem. If the belts were bad you could tell right off the bat b/c it would squeal even worse when you made a hard turn.

I still say its your fan bearing..

See but the fan is working just fine, wouldn't it have trouble turning if it was going?

When was the last time you took the ends off the battery and cleaned them good. If you have not done that for a year or more, the problem could simply be dirty battery terminals. Also often the ends can be clean and the battery shinny, but where the power wire hooks into the connector that hooks to the battery can get real crowded. Look for green stuff built up inside where the power wire hooks into it.

The starter draws more power than anything else on the rig, so the dash lights can light up no problem, even the head lights. But the starter still will not turn.

Well the starter is fine, the noise on the other hand no, it is going in either tomorrow or Friday. I have tried everything in my power to fix it so... we shall see

same here, what I am pissed about the most now is that I am going to miss a romp in the snow...
And timing couldn't be off any more either cause then that means I have to battle the elements with moms Lexus...
Never drove in the snow with it before...
Should be fun...
That and I might have a date Saturday...
I don't want to look like a rich stuck up boy when I go in moms Lexus...
I want to be the bad@$$ rebel that I am when I am in my 4Runner...
Oh well, at least Tess is getting check out...
