I'm having to replace my starter on my 98 Tacoma. Where is the starter located? And is there an online repair manual? It's the 2.4 engine.

 

I dont have a 2.4, but you should have no problem locating the starter. Look on the side of the engine down low. Changing a starter is pretty straight forward and you shouldnt have any problems. One important tip-disconnect the battery before working on the starter.
