Question Squeaking noise

I have this very annoying intermittent noise problem that drives me crazy for almost a year now . As usual, when I want to show it to somebody, it never shows. There seems to be no procedure to reproduce it, when it happens it happens. Before it seemed to happen only at a slight acceleration, if I just press the pedal very lightly. If I press it harder or do not press it at all, the noise goes away. Now it seems to have progressed to a stage, when it happens without me pressing the accelerator, however it still goes away if I step on it. The road roughness seems to have no effect on the problem, I can hear it happening on a very smooth surface. It happens when the car is cold as well as when it is hot. It happens at 65mph as well as at 40mph. The car has to be moving. I've never been able to get it to squeak just by jumping on bumpers/running boards. The location is hard to pinpoint, but it seems to be coming from under the truck. The dealer up to this point has proved to be usleless...
Oh, and I forgot to mention that this is a 2000 4Runner SR5 and it has only about 45k on it. Please help, anybody. Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!
Alex.

Yep, you need to lubricate your driveshaft. For some reason the thing requires alot of lubrication or else it squeals like crazy. Mine did the same thing....started squealing when I accelerated to about 40-50mph and let off the gas. Sounded 10 times worse in the rain. The sound came from underneath, towards the rear.
I just took mine into the local oil-stop and had them lubricate all the joints and the sound went away.

Forgot to mention, I took my truck to the dealer a couple times to show them the problem but it NEVER made the noise with them in the car. I left it there for three days and they couldnt figure it out. When I came to pick it up, it did it to me on the way home  Someone suggested I try lubricating the driveshaft and bingo.....an easy 8$ fix.

Thanks a lot for the advice, Ryan!
Your story sounds almost exactly as mine with the noise and the quest to the dealership... I'll try your suggestion.
Thanks,
Alex.
