Speedometer recalibration - what did you use?
Hi all,
Just thinking about fixing my speedo to show the right speed.
I know some of you run Dakota Digital Universal Signal Interface SGI-5.
Any other solutions?
Thoughts?
Thank you.

speedo
Mine wasn't right till after I put on 265/75-16 tires. If I remember right 225 was the origianl tire tze and 265/70 was a distributor lever add-on. Mine is an SR5 w/5-speed and with the 265/75's it is now within less than 1% error by my GPS and radar. With stock tires most vehicles read way high. My Honda Del Sol was over 7% high with new stock size tires so I went up one size and got it also within less than 1% error. Have you checked yours with a GPS or anything?

Well after going to 33" tires (factory 28") my spedometer got screwed realy bad.
I regeared to 4.56 and I felt the change on RPM's, but speedo still seems be wrong.
I'm about to buy GPS and check it exactly, but I want to correct the problem anyway.
