Which spark plugs?

Good to be back...
Looking on sparkplugs.com I found several options for the gen 3 V5Z engine:

Denso Iridium plug 5303 IK16 0.044 $11.99
Denso Multi-ground plug 3289 PK16TR11 0.044 $7.16
NGK Multi-ground Plug 4302 BKR5EKPB-11 0.044 $11.71
NGK Multi-ground plug 3967 BKR5EKB-11 0.044 $4.26
Denso Multi-ground plug 3194 K16TR11 0.044 $2.24

Can anyone advise me about the difference between the Denso Iridium plug and regular vs the NGK? Thanks.

iridium is suppsoed to be the best, its a rarer metal that why it cost soo much..... they are fine... but the others are fine too... really in spark plugs, you just need them not to foul.... unless your running a super highly modifeid force induction car there really is no need to have the super duper plugs....

I agree with Jim on this one. But I find that my platinum plugs out-last
regular plugs. One set of Bosche +4's on my '95 3.0 lasted 100K and were still giving good performance. By the way, 3.4 needs a dual-electrode plug.

Does the dealer offer a standard and platinum OEM spark plug option for the 3.4L if you were to have them do it?

The only plugs the dealer gave me was the Denso K16TR11. If they had premiums I'm sure they would have offered them, repeatedly.

Here's a picture of new vs. 30k miles K16TR11.

In my opinion, I'd go with the NGK 3967.

I just replaced the plugs on my 02 - From the factory it had Densos on the passenger side and NGKs on the driver's side. The NGKs were in much better shape than the Densos - better color and gap.

If you plan on maintaining a 30k interval, I don't think you need to spend the money on platinums.
