Sounds behind dashboard

So I'm driving in traffic this morning and I hear this electric motor sound that keeps going on and off. It sounds like it's coming from behind the dashboard clock or glove box and it lasted for 25 minutes. Does anybody know what this is???

your antenna motor? the blower fan motor? those are the only two things i can think of that are not part of the engine that could be heard from the interior

No and no, I turned off both. It sounds like an electric motor sound going on and off constantly

Most likely a mode door motor meaning the motors that move the fresh/recirculate and hot cold doors in your heater box. Do all of the functions work fine? Position, temperature and fresh/recirculate.

All those functions work fine. In fact, I can hear the heater box door motor move along with that mysterious noise.

Wow how did you guys know I was hearing this yesterday and thinking it was my antenna and then we noticewd my heater fan not working ALL THE WAY from Denver to Farmingrton NM. ANd I though it was a blown fuse. Glad I checked Yotatech tonight. I hope Carquest or NAPA has the right part for this. Not sure how hard it is to get to this. I can wheel without it but it would be nice to have blown heat ont he way home... LOL

Thanks guys! You rule!
