So i got a bad feeling in the depth of my heart (window problem)

I got the bad bad feeling in the pit of my heart that my power window motors are starting to go bye bye.

the reason i get this feelin is b/c last vehical my family had where the window motors went back was our ol 89 S-10 blazer when i was a wee little lad and it cost $500 a pop to replace, and fix the winodw motors, and switches.

Basicly... both of my rear windows are starting to go up alot slower now. And my back rear window is starting to slow down a little too.

since most of ya'll have alot more expirence with 4runner then i do, i was curious if any of ya'll ahev any insight on how i should approach this problem.... (replacement motors, instilation, etc.)

thanks alot yotatech

go to a wrecker & get some new(er) ones? replacement should be nuts & bolts re & re. a FSM or even haynes/chilton should be able to walk you through...

GM vehicles had weak window motors to start with. Just wait and see if the Yota motors bite it.

Much better engineered [sp] than GM [generic motors] were.
