sneak preview of disco links..

Well they are ready to go in the truck.. I only have one problem right now.. Well, I don't have any control arms ...

But seriously here is the links, I have them measured to the same length as the factory links.. I torqued down the bushings to spec and measured them.. Then I used a spare lock collar, and drilled a set screw hole for it to keep it from slipping on the bolt Then using a square bolt as a drill guide tepmlate, I drilled the pin hole to 1/8" I have a hardened washer to go above the pin to keep the pin from bending..I will be trying these out soon..

For those looking for some, right now I have enough bushings to make 4 sets.... I want to test these first so give me time..

Looks sweet, No??

OK.. a few people have been interested in buying some of these.. If you want me to make you a set, drop me an e-mail and I will add you to a list.. If the material pricing is good I plan to sell them for about $50 or less if I can source out parts cheaper... I am not looking to make a killing on them, but I do have to spend a little time picking up parts and some work to set them up.. So let me know and I will add you to an e-mail list I set up for updates.. Figure on about a month right now.. My truck is kinda off the road and I can not test them yet.. and I want to make sure they hold up.. The lock collar design has been used on other set-ups, so I do think it will hold up, espicaly with an indent for the set screw..

Now just to put out a disclaimer.. I did not pioneer this design, it is in part a copy of Robinhoods and that one off one of the internet 4X4 sites (I forget which) and a little improvement of my own.. I in no way want credit for this design yet I do not see anyone selling these.. Nor do I want to make a big time consuming job out of it... I only want to offer these for a good price because once you have made the 1st set, they are rather easy to make more... If anyone has a problem with me selling these.. let me know via e-mail...

isclaimer mode off:
