slight rapid vibration when accelerating

22re. when i'm on the gas, i have a slight, but rapid vibration that i can feel in the steering wheel and see when looking at the rear view mirror. As soon as I let off the gas, the vibration is completely gone. Any clues?

Well without feeling it, it's hard to know. But have you checked your Driveline??? I would go down on the old Girl and check for play in the Driveline.

could be a u-joint.

when i was doing my engine swap, i left the driveline hooked up to the rear diff. when i went to pull it off to have it balanced, 2 of the bolts were so loose i didn't need a wrench to get them out! both u-joints were toast, and one of the yokes was pinched so it had to be machined. ended up running me about $130 for all the work it needed.

U- joint. Check that its not binding or loose. They have some greasable fittings on em that you can lube up. At the very worse replacing them is fairly easy and cheap.
