SliderZ: Writeup. Sorry no real test yet
Hi Guys, (Corey) finally got a simple write up on how the prepping to the final installed product of my sliderz. Sorry no Hi-Lift and Off-road test yet. Coming soon hopefully with the other Bay Area 4runners at Hollister Hills. Click on the Sliderz link on my sig.

Hey Rod, good writeup and nice clean install. May I make a few observations:
I would suggest that in addition to sanding the surface, you should wipe the surface with acetone and then isopropyl alcohol. Acetone removes the oils and alcohol removes the acetone residue. You might want to put that in your writeup so others will know.
I have about a 1/2 inch gap between my sliders and my pinch weld and they almost touch when hi-lifted. Even if the sliders don't flex too much, the frame still twists. You might have to dremel out more clearance, but you won't know until you try it.
Your frame will probably be fine even if it's been welded on. I wouldn't worry, just keep an eye on it to make sure no cracks start.
Us bay area folks should get together sometime and try those sliders out.
