Misfiring or timing and backfires
My 91 truck 22re starts and runs fine for about 2 mins then 2 mins into every trip, I start to accelerate and it starts bucking real hard as if I were accelerating and braking real fast. Then when I slow back down to an idle it shakes a ton. New plugs and wires, only 140,000 miles on the truck.

Please do the following:
- Adjust the spark plugs gap to 0.8 mm.
- Check the resistance of high tension cords.
- Check the distributor cap and rotor for cracks.
- Check the ignition module in the distributor.
- Check the ignition coil.
