Talking Sliders on, withpics

OOh I feel so cool now, you should have seen the looks on the faces of the guys at the welding shop when I told them I need some rock sliders welded on. Can't wait to try them out this weekend. Pics here

EDIT: Moved some things around, check my website for pics.

Are those the ones that you snagged off of eBay for $250?

Oh man... I agree with 96 Runner - I need 'em and headers and a freeflow cat-back and and and...

Actually I snagged them for $185, plus about $50 shipping. Here's the link to the auction.

Looks great and very nice buy! The seller has another set up for auction also so maybe he'll keep putting them up as long as there's a demand. Wonder if he'd do a group buy?

Actually the guy, Richard Stubbs of Stubbs Welding , has been outstanding to deal with. Absolute tops in customer service. I wouldn't be surprised if you could talk him into a group buy. Looks like he's starting another web page at www.stubbswelding.com.

I'm way in on a group buy!

But given that he's already selling at reduced prices on eBay, I don't know what we could expect as a discount. There's something to be said for a large count at a lower price, versus a smaller count at a higher price, but if he's a shop of one, then we don't want to flood him out!

Since you seem to have a pre-established repor with him Wild_Bill, I nominate you to approach him with the concept.

Hmmm let's see, Bill has sliders, Mark doesn't, me thinks I will kindly decline your nomination . But you are more than welcome to use me as a reference (he doesn't know me as "Wild_Bill", just Bill from Louisiana). Mayve I'll send him a link to this thread.
