Matt does great work, glad that more people are catching on and committing to a great product.

I handed out maybe 6 or 8 of the Rockware businesss cards when I was out there this summer since people were checking out the bumper a lot.

My high-lift sits closest the hinge and goes straight up with a stud in the bottom on an arm off the tire carrier near the middle. It is going to be a real bugger when the time comes for a 60" jack. I would see about straight across below the tire if you are going large. 33's make the 48" smaller, but any bigger makes it pretty much useless.

Yeah, I'm still contemplating it. I wouldn't necessarily mind hauling a jack in the cargo area, but seeing as I often load that area up with camping gear and what not all the time, that would be the only potential drawback. Of course, that's a bit more weight on the carrier if I put it out there, but am confident it would hold it without a problem. I would imagine it would look similar to Adrian's if I were to follow through with this. I also like how Christo mounts there's at an angle. We'll see.

Dave, are you having them include a hi-lift mount on yours at all?

Sorry this is turning into a general Rock Ware thread, Doug!

I can't really see Fly's Avatar, but it looks like his is a standing mount also.

This is what i asked Matt for and he said no problem but we'll see.
I have a 48" jack and don't plan on moving to larger than 285's tires in the future.

I have seen some standing jack applications on the plethora of 4x4 rigs that roll thru this town and like the stand up mounts the best, although if it seems like it can't be done in conjunction with the swing, then I may have to settle for a horizontal mount.

I guess i don't care I just want it off my wilderness rack.

Edit: Sorry for the Hijack Doug

Just to jump back in on the conversation, I have my hi lift mounted on my yak rack with velcro straps and bungie cords.
It seems to work fine with all the wheeling I've done so far no problems.

Dinner with the guys sounds like a plan when you get into town.

Yeah Doug...sounds great...

I am a rounder by nature, so 2 weeks meaning Monday the 26th I think, I am not looking at the calender.

I have avalanche school in Silverton Fri,Sat, & all day Sun. (23-25) I will probably drive down late sunday night but not 100% sure cause Matt says he needs my truck at 9am.

In the Springs thru Wed. unless i feel up to the 6 hr drive back tues night.

I will be on my cell 970.708.1426 so call me and let me know what the plan is, or meet me at Rockware, I will be stranded all day.
-Dave

Yes, being that I'm the one who proposed it in the first place!

I don't know if we need to post it, though you may if you want. I figured we'd just PM the other 2 guys down there, which I have not done as of yet.
