Thanks for the kind words Travis. I'm stoked on how they turned out too...not bad for my first pair ever. Here are a couple more pics to add to the thread, and I look forward to being part of your guys'/girls' community.

...also thinking about going with the bajarack roof rack that is made to fit in the stock rails on the 3rd gens roof w/the tire carrier bracket possibly.

yeah, the only thing that I'm worried about now is my unprotected radiator...I noticed that its just sitting down there with nothing stopping a rock from splitting it and I think that its just plastic...when we fab up the front bumper we're gonna fix that...maybe I'm just a bit paranoid?

Why is it sitting so low? Body lift?

not the entire radiator but on some radiators the end caps are plastic and that worries me a bit because there's no protection 'in case' something happens to hit it. No bl and it doesn't sit low (I have 31's on and I have 7 5/8" from top of tire to lip of fender in front and 6 5/8" in the rear) I just don't want to have an 'accident' on the trail and have to fix that out there...like I said maybe I'm just paranoid but I would feel better with some protection up front.

We're gonna be fabbin' up a rear and then a front bumper (the guy who did my sliders & I) so I'll have plenty of protection then...when I bought my 4runner the skid plate that it had is down lower and further back than the radiator, I might have to take a pic so that everyone can see. I didn't really think about it until yesterday when my dad was under it while we were painting the sliders and he mentioned it.

WOW Travis! I have to admit, they have that "finished" look now. I love the look of bare steel tubing, (before it rusts and looks horrible) but that black completed them, they really do look better. Great job.
btw...you know you're not allowed to do any damage to your bumper/valance until we get your front bumper done. I want that sucker for my Taco since it's in such great condition. And don't worry, your radiator fears will be over when we do your bumper. This is what I offer for the Taco guys who want to keep it simple...the last pic is my 99 streeter.

Those look clean! I might need something fairly heavy duty just in case...I'll call you tomorrow or email you tonight about the rear bumper, have a good sunday and we'll talk soon.
