something of a flex pic?
surely the tire on the white parking space line is couple microns higher than the non painted side?

good pic actually, i like the lighting.
and both are good looking trucks.

the 3rd gen body style is pretty timeless i think.

Looks good. I am thinking of getting mine tinted. From what I have seen here in SC, they don't really enforce the tint laws.

look at all your cars that debut under the lights at detroit, im talking debut cars,
as with new performance cars tested in AUTOWEEK and everyother mag,
the front windshield is tinted to show more lines of the car,
instead of looking right through it.

Like you said those are debut cars, not street legal cars. It looks cool, but I can't stand it when cars have their front windshield tinted. For example, when stopping at a 4 way stop sign intersection, a lot of the time non-verbal communication, such as eye contact or a nod grants right-of-way to a driver. But when the car next to you has their windshield tinted you can't. Also, in parking lots, it's nice to know if an oncoming car sees you or not, I hate having to be hesitant crossing in front of a car with its windshield tinted. To me, not being able to establish eye contact with other drivers nor being able to determine whether or not another car sees you makes driving more dangerous.

Like I said, it looks sic, but it's sooooo annoying to other drivers and dangerous at the same time. Maybe it's just me. Oh and cops are normally only relaxed regarding the front driver's side and passenger's side windows.

And privacy, how much privacy do you need? Are you worried about the car in front spying back at you through their tiny rear view or side mirrors? I can understand getting your sides tinted, I did because I hate passing a car or getting passed by a car and the other driver feels the need to stare you down, but the front seems like over kill, what's the point...?

On a side note, both of your cars look great, purdy pic

I've got my entire front windshield tinted @ 35%. At night, it is difficult for other drivers to see me directly through the windshield. During the day however, they can see my hand gestures very easily, i.e. motioning to someone it's okay to walk in front of me.

I agree, you can go too dark. I have a friend that once had 20% on his windshield and every other window as well on his Ford F250. During broad daylight, you couldn't see him sitting in his truck at all. He later removed it b/c he got a ticket for it.

I simply like having the entire windshield tinted b/c I feel it blends the driver and passenger side tinted windows together.

It can't be that dark, you can still see the oh crap handle on his A pillar. I think it looks weak, go limo J/K it looks fine.

It is nice if you don't get hassled by the cops for it being illegal!

Guys this is 40% commercial tint, no your drive at night is not all that bad.

If you like tint this is your goal.As it was for me.
If for a second you are concerned about this being a safty issuse, just look at your factory back windows and imagined it half that dark I mean its truely watered down.

rock slide is right, you have to tell ppl its tinted from a driver/passenger view

It would just be a pain in the wallet to tint my windshield every two years since our winters are murder on the front glass and need replacement that often.
