Though we were far from being at the top this day, it felt like it being up in the freash snow and clouds all around us.

Further on the main road from where we turned off is Mt. Rainier at 14,411'.

Here is my buddy "newdavejones", on the snowboard. If you look real close you can see 1990 4 runner in the background with one messed up headlight...on top of the world!

 

Hey how do you get there from Highway 1? I wouldn't mind some off roading.

Here's another old one from a few years ago.
This is up at Sunrise, the highest elevation you can drive in Mt. Rainier park at the North Eastern entrance.

 

man..those mountains look unreal!! i wish we had something like there down here in florida. all we have is water.

This is the actual top of the world, elevation 12,700 or so. This is the same spot as some of Darren's pictures. He's in there somewhere. Oh! Point, Colorado.

Highpoint NJ. Highest point in the state at 1,803 ft.

 

This wasn't exactly as high as I could get, probably around 7000 ft, was taken a couple months ago.
