I like the smoked ones, but I think that they would look best on either black truck, or something light colored like yours.

Does anybody have the smoked ones on a green 4Runner?

Here are a couple of pics of my LED tails. I added the OEM '02 chrome taillight trim and painted them to match. I also added "chrome" orange turn signal bulbs for a cleaner look:

 

I love my LED tail lights. I have the same ones as pfdaxe. They are incredibly sharp looking. I'm happy I went with the red-OEM style ones. Got them (the LED tails) and all my clear corner/bumper lights for under $150 shipped.

 

It doesn't feel like it sometimes. I read your build thread... Now I want your truck ....

But I'll just re-build my flat bed and make it closer

I need more storage space ....

 

I like that black trim axe it looks really sharp on the blacked out truck. And the chrome orange really cleans up the look of those tail lights. I never liked the silly orange ball look of the non-chrome ones... as an alternate idea you could drop in some amber LED bulbs when the chrome wears off.

I think I like those the most! Where did you get those chrome trim pieces that you painted black?

 

here are mine, its vht nightshade and comes out really good. i love them!

 

They are an OEM Toyota part. VERY hard to find (and VERY expensive) since they were offered as part of a chrome package only on the '02.

 

 

IMO the smoked ones look pretty sweet.

 

Here are my (apparently ricer) smoked LED tails.

I think they look really nice on the darker colored trucks.

I think so try looking on ebay.au and search for 84-88 truck/runners... there seems to be a lot more of the LED/Altezza stuff for the older trucks listed there also try ebay.uk.

roughtrax4x4 is a store in UK that might be able to help you... the staff there are very knowledgeable and respond to email requests fairly promptly they may have some ideas as well. They're on the web oogle them...
