SAW fitment questions
I'm looking into getting a pair of SAWs for my '99 Taco and was wondering if ones for the '01 and up will fit. I'm assuming it will and how difficult will be the install for one person? Thanks as always .

If it's made for a Tacoma/4Runner/Tundra it'll fit without any problems. It's a VERY easy install, bolt out, bolt in. The only hard part is adjusting them to the right height.
Ooops, I forgot..the REALLY hard part is living with the ride and the fact you paid $650 for them. There's much better coilovers.....

what's wrong with the ride? I'm getting used ones that have about 15K on them all on the road. They can't be more stiffer than the Cornfeds I have on right now... could they?

Awwww, nuts! I always thought the SAWs would be a heck of a lot better than the Cornfeds now. In addition to the Corns I've got the stiff a$$ KYB struts up front as well. I had them for the rear as well, but they were too stiff and I changed them out to Bils. Hopefull the SAWs will be a "tad" better than the setup I have now. I'll be getting them for $400 shipped to me. Good price?

I can highly suggest using TRD Tundra coils with Andy's (bamachem) top spacers and studs. The ride is fantastic! PLUS, you can say $160 for the coils, $150 for the shocks, and $80 for two sets of spacers. For about the same cost of the used SAW's you can get a brand new setup that rides very well, and gives you full function of your IFS.
Also, at 15k miles, the SAW's are getting close to rebuild time ($100ish).
I've had stock, OME 882's, SAW's, and now finally the Tundra coils. This IS the solution. Maybe someday I'll try Donahoe's for kicks..but until then, this kicks ass!
