does anyone know of any salvage yards for toyotas in san diego area, preferably around north county? I need some new seats and some other odds and ends.

there is one down south of SD in Chula Vista that keeps putting ads up on craigslist. I drove down there last week to get some parts for my new runner and it was pretty worthless. One third gen mostly stripped out already. The only thing they had that I could use was the rear carpet that the guy offered for $50, which seemed way high for a crappy old used carpet. I declined and bought a $10 carpet from home depot instead. If you find a good place let me know, I still need some stuff.

 

I have yet to find a good pick-a-part, but I get all my used parts from Mini-Truck dismantling, just south of Downtown San Diego. There number is (619) 233-3884. Hope this helps.

Did you try Gallant's Truck Salvage in O'side? Their 4runner inventory is OK.

Chula Vista is your best bet, but there are some good yards off the 15 in the Lake Perris area too.
