Rusted Tie Rod Adjuster

I am now an official Toyota Junkie!!
I just purchased a 94 4Runner. I got a great deal on the truck, but it needed new tires. Since I was unsure of the alignment I had them check it. Of course it needed re-alignment and I was informed that the adjuster for the tie rods was rusted and broke and at some point someone moved the clamp backward.
I want to go ahead and replace the adjuster and while I'm at it the tie rods as well. I know NAPA has some but I've always liked to install "better than OEM". The truck's suspension is completely stock. Any suggestions??

I'm also curious as to what type of exhaust system you guys are running.

This is going to be WAY more fun than Hot-Rod Pickup's!!

welcome! can't really help you much with the tie-rod issues, but as for the exhaust if you hit the search feature you'll find TONS of threads about it. Common seems to be a magnaflow or a flowmaster, with a 2.25" to 2.5" pipe and a high-flow cat.

I got tie rod ends from these guys. They are very nice and have grease fittings included (unlike the originals) They have a lot of parts available that aren't listed. If you don't see what you need e-mail them, I have found them great to work with. And free shipping on most if not all orders.

Hey guys, thanks for the input. That site really has a lot of parts available.

YotaTech seems to be a great community. I hope I can be as helpful to others down the road.
