Some of the most recent midnight mods.

First is a ScangaugeII that I took out of my totaled CR-V. Tells MPG, voltage, throttle positioning, intake temp, map sensor, ignition timing, reads engine codes, gives me a tripometer and even calculates the cost to fill each tank.





The second for tonight is I finally repainted my grill. It was faded and cracked from the sun. It was embarrassing driving down the road with it so I needed to do something about it.

I sanded, prime, and painted everything. Looks pretty good for $12 of spray paint.

grille looks good.. but that gauge thingy.. what exactly do you gain by knowing your throttle position.. shouldnt your foot be doing that job?

 

I know that idle is at 13% and the engine gets the best gas mileage at around 19-23%. I squeezed out 24mpg on a trip through the mountains.
