It costs a little more than Amsoil, especially if you buy the yearly Amsoil memebership. I think in ballbearing wear tests nothing outperforms Amsoil. Dont get me wrong redline and RP are great also, but you can get Amsoil for 4.50 a qt if you get the membership. I just put the first batch of of Amsoil in my car and it made a cold crank engine rattle go away that had been there from mile 1. I had tried Mobil1 and Valvoline synthetic which didnt make any difference. Now at 40k miles the first change to Amsoil it is comepletely gone.

My buddy ran it in his Turbo'ed Integra and he said that when it gets too hot, it turns waxy. He said that's the reason he blew his turbo. He is an experienced Toyota and Acura mechanic, so I believe him.
