Rough Idle cured
Well today i decided to change the throttle body cause i have another one (from the rolled truck) that i cleaned and made all spiffy. The coolant line through the throttle body was completely clogged! My engine wouldn't run right and now i find out why. I guess that was why it wouldn't idle right when i started it first thing in the morning. Gonna tear it apart to see what the clog is. The truck now runs like it just came out of the showroom. Tranny shifts properly and the mileage is way up as well. I'll post when i find out what was causing the clog.

Seems that the previous owner had quite the adventure with rad sealer. The heater core was half plugged as was the rear heater. The throttle body is probably never going to be the same. Trying to clean it out is proving to be a real pain in the a**. Any suggestions. I was thinking of trying draino or liquid plumber but not sure if they are safe for aluminum.

Radiator Sealer is nasty stuff. I never understood why people put that ˟˟˟˟˟ in the cooling system and actually think that its not going to clog up anything esle but the leak.
Fix it once, and fix it right.

So we're up to a new rad heater core and rear heater. Truck is running like a champ now though. They oughta ban that crap. Well once i get the throttle cleaned out I'm gonna have it bored 4mm over stock and the intake plenum as well. Get a little more air in there i hope.
