This was posted earlier regarding 4th generation, but I wanted everyone's input. What is your recommendation for a roof basket and where can I get it online or otherwise at the best price? It needs to mount to my '03 factory rack. I don't want to spend more than $300.

You may have to buy the clamps separately.

 

How are you going to be using the basket? There are light duty ones and heavy duty ones, both good for their intended purpose. I've got a light duty basket for carrying my spare tires, tool boxes, gas cans, and wet/dirty camping gear. Mine is a Surco, which I'm pretty happy with, especially considering the price.

A couple questions for you guys:
What size roof rack would best fit the 03 roof? 45x60, 50x50 or 50x60? all are big enough- just for looks, which is best?
Also, does the Surco mounting kit for other Toyota suv's fit on the 03? (highlander, 02 4runner, sequoia, LC?) They don't have a 03runner mounting kit listed

Anyone have that Surco Urban Rack found on that above link? I think that would look good on my '03. I'm only going to be carrying camping gear maybe a cooler at the heaviest.
