Does anybody have an idea where could I get a fog light kit for the 03 4runner SR5. I looked everywhere and the dealer wants $360 a piece ... any suggestions will be greatly appreciated ..

 

I called Toyota a couple of months ago on this topic and they said there is not a kit available, and they didn't think one would be available. Apparently, there were not that many vehicles produced without fog lights before they made it part of the Appearance Package, and now it's a standard feature.

 

i would think that the kit would not be possible for one reason:

the fog light switch is located on the steering column console area with the turn signal/headlight module.

you would have to replace that and hope that the wiring is there for the factory fog lights.

your best bet is to install aftermarket fog lights or something.

hope your dealer was right on the kit cuz i think it's doubtful.

I'd prefer OEM look on the outside, but a toggle switch on the inside. Certainly have enough blanks for it!

So far, though, I've not found any that give the OEM look.
