The TV show Motor Week will review the new 4Runner on thier next show. I get it on DirecTV and for me that will be Saturday and I have my TiVO all set up to record it.

You can go to www.PBS.org to find out where and when it will broadcast in your area.

Then we can all come back here and cry about it.

What channel on DirecTV?

 

For what its worth, KBTC, the PBS station in Tacoma WA. shows the 4Runner episode running Sept. 29 at 1:30PM. According to their schedule, today they're reviewing the Hummer H2 and the Nissan 350Z.

An update for KBTC watchers....

Their Motorweek schedule must be a week behind what they show on their web page. Instead of the H2 Hummer show today, they were really showing the one advertised for last week. If that holds true, then the H2 Hummer will be next week, and the 4Runner may be October 8 instead of Sept 29.

Sorry about passing along bad info., but I was basing it on what they have on their web site. Just proves the old saying about believing what you read (except here of course!).

Do you guys think they will go ahead show this episode of Motorweek despite the fact that Toyota has not yet announced anything? Will the embargo forced them to postpone that particular episode...... i wish not.

I am in the Milwaukee area and also have Directv. Wondering what channel exactly, the 2003 4runner Motorweek show will be aired on. I am not sure if it's a local PBS or ch. 384 which I don't think I get.

That reminds me I think car and driver on tnn, I saw the 2003 svt cobra tested on there... hopefully the new 4runner isn't far behind. I'm kinda interested in seeing them or motorweek test it.

 

Check this site for pictures. The wheelwells look a bit like the Trailblazer/Envoy. But it looks like they'll be offering a V8...
