Nice Runner.. I see you have the dark colored rear bumper. Did you buy that aftermarket or did you come like that? Most of the UK spec Runners have the dark bumpers as opposed to Chrome.

orig. tranny?
adjusted using the potentiometer behind the tach and a digital tach attached to the engine for reference. I purchased adapters from Downey for the Temp and pressure. I also purchased an adjustable potentiometer for the tach but it was not neccesary due to there being an adjustable dial already in the tach (I love toyota) problem is of course getting behind the dash, that was 4 hours just to get in!!!
I am still using the original tranny for now but will change to a GM NV4500 transmission in August.

This is a one sweet bad ass Chevyota 4Runner. The engine installation is sweet, clean, neat, and done professionally. Wow, what an awesome mechanical works. Good job.
So how much horsepower and torque that small block chevy 350 produced? With .030 bored, four barrel carb Holley 650cfm, crane cam, and edelbrock guts, you should be making a lot of power. How did you fit your headers in there and do you run dual exhaust pipe? Just wondering. That's is really a sweet looking rig.

I honestly don't know what the HP is without putting it on a dyno but I'm taking a conservative guess at 305 HP. I won't be trying it out until I get the new transmission in. The headers are called "slick fit block huggers" designed for conversions of this nature. I am running dual exhaust thru a flowmaster set up, I E-mailed Corey a good sound byte of the exhaust so hopefully it will be accesible to all soon. I am getting ready to re-route the exhaust to make room for a larger fuel tank.
