Replacing Shocks w/Bilstein- Coils too?

Hello
Just ordered my Bilsteins... ended up getting them from weathertech.com for $75 front/$60 rear

What would the argument for/against needing to replace the coils/springs as well?
Thanks!

What kind of 'yota do you have and how many miles are on it? What did you experience that caused you to get replacements in the first place?

I just got Bils too and I just bought a new set of OEM springs since mine have over 90k on 'em and I wanted a fresh setup instead of mixing worn parts with new ones. I'd replace the springs if you're over 70k IMO and you plan on keeping your rig for a while.

I also ordered all new rubber pieces to be replaced too.

Duh,
I should have mentioned...

96 4Runner with about 56k miles.
I kept reading how great the Bilstein shocks were for the ride quality, so I decided to go for it.
Thanks

56k isn't bad but check the quality of some of your bushings and any rubber parts that might be fatigued or cracked.
