The nighthawks are great and true to there word they are at least 30% brighter with the high beams.Can't tell much difference in the low beams.

 

went to wally's world, picked the nighthawk 9003's up and took a before and after....is it worth 27 buckeroos?

i will drive it in a few and check it out more!

found an auction on ebay that might become interesting, anyone know what fits the 9006?
anyways i drove the runner to baskin robins and WOW did the lights seem alot brighter and cleaner especially on the sides. i must say at the drive thru a car full of guys looked back at me as if i had the nrights on, i hit the high beems to let them know they werent on....they looked wierd squinting with a puckered face!!!

high beems werent AWESOME or anything but they were bright and clean.

maybe my stock ones were on the way out the door and thats why mine are brighter than before on low beam~! i would be interested in the ebay auction to split with a few people

The 9006 are usually low beams for multi-reflector vehicles, and halogen projectors.

 

I have the facts to back up what we perceive to be brighter.

I just replaced my headlights with Nighthawks H3.

My old stock bulbs were reading 2590* kelvin, the Nighthawks are 2900* kelvin.

The nighthawks are 60 percent brighter in the main beam and 30 percent brighter outside the main beam.

I am in the film industry so I did my testing in a controled enviroment with professional light meters and color temperature meters.

I haven't seen them at night yet but I could see the difference when I was testing.

 

Thanks for the info Gerdo! Nice to actually have numbers to back up what GE says. I drove at night again yesterday and just love the Nighthawks...probably the only bulb I'll ever buy again!
