To replace my head or not?

Well I scored a free 92 3VZE engine this week it had 70,000 miles on it the problem with it was the #5 cyl threw a rod and punched a hole through the block.
I basically got the engine for parts the top end was very clean as well as the heads. I did have to replace the #5 exhaust valve since it was bent the intake valve looks fine. I just got done cleaning them up and thought since I have my engine apart still why not use these 92 heads on it.
I honestly think they took too much material off my old heads so getting it running right has been a real pita.
Do you think I should throw these low milage heads on there?

I would have the heads magna fluxed to determine if there are any weak areas around coolant ports, between valve seats and oil inlets. Second, I would consider getting the valve seat 3-angles checked and trued.

I hope that last one made sense

Sounds cool, also get high grade head bolts (studs).

Here's a web page from DOA racing that might give you some ideas.

I would at the very least do a leak test on all the valves.
Cover the 3 combustion chambers with talcum powder.
Now, pour some mineral spirits in each intake....wait 5-10 min...check for leaks.
Then repeat this for the exhaust side too.

If any do leak, you need to lap the valve at a minimum.
It would be good to have the deck surface checked for flatness and cracks as Jim suggested.
