Hello YT'ers. I have a 99' Taco, 4wd manual trans and... At one time, the lower left corner of the windshield leaked, allowing water to run down to and thru the fuse box, which now has corrosion issues that mess with the contacts, and fuses even fall out of the thing.
So howdoya replace it? do ya gotta cut and splice wires, or does it just unplug/plug in somehow?
My local salvage yard has a '98 truck, but they tell me if I have to cut even one wire to remove the fuse box, I have to buy the whole wiring harness. So if that's the case, I gotta think of something else...

It just unplugs from the harness, no need to cut and splice. I'm not sure if one from a 98 will work on a 99. I would look up the part for both years on a toyota parts website first to see if they have the same part numbers.
