Hey guys,

I'm in the process of removing the gold emblems on my 4runner and switching it to the silver ones. I was wondering for anyone who has done this, what product did you use to apply the emblems? thanks

 

Silicone works pretty well, just make sure both surfaces are really clean. You might have to tape the emblems in place overnight.

 

You're best bet would be to use 3M Double sided tape...they have a new one now that is just clear compared to the old one that is gray. The only draw back is you have to use a blade or X-acto knife and carefully cut out the edges because it comes in 1 inch strip...once that is done it will look oem.
