looking for a keyless entry remote for a 1998 runner

i know the black ones are correct, not grey

does this look black to yall?

 

Yes, it looks black... and no, it looks nothing like the keyless entry for my '99 4Runner. I think that all factory 4Runner keyless remotes were the 3 button variety, with a 3rd button to lower the rear window. (but I could be wrong). Try a search on the keyless remote, reprograming or RS3000. I think the 2 button v. 3 button issue has been discussed.

That is the same as the one that I had on my 98...

 

its the right type, 2 button, the remote rear window did not begin until 99. the issue is the color grey vs. black, and sometimes its hard to tell the color in pictures.

 

looks black ... could just be the angle of the screen though.

A: IT IS GREY, BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT COLOR THEY ARE, THEY STILL ARE THE SAME REMOTE, BUT THIS ONE IS GREY, THANK'S...

everywhere i read on here says only the black ones work, so i guess im out of luck for now...
