I remember seeing a while back a post where someone lined their ashtray in felt and was giving away the extra pieces they made. Anyways I did this mod tonite and wanted to say thanks and give credit to whoever posted it awhile back.



I shoulda done it in blue...hehehe The light that comes one when you open it is blue at least!

 

Bob98SR5 is the one that had the origional post on the ashtray mod. I was one of the lucky ones that he sent the lining to! Great mod!

Yeah as SLC said, it was little ol' me.

You might also want to felt line the silver top part. That was actually causing the change to clank more so than the bottom part.

Haha, I've been talking about doing this to my truck since the first time I put change in it! Leave it to you guys to already have it covered

 

Good I was hoping whoever did it would get credit. I did a search but couldn't find that thread anywhere. I will have to cut out one more piece for the top. I used that 3M tack spray to glue it down.. good stuff.
