Question Relay wiring

Hey all I bought 2 more lights and found a spot under the stock bumper to mount them. I was reading some tech article on relays and could not get it to work for the life of me. I ended up just wiring the switch directly bypassing the relay. Anyone have a wiring guide as far as what prong takes what, for example when looking at it from the front which of the 4 prongs take what. Thanks

Some relays have two 87 terminals instead of one 87 and one 87A. If you by chance run across one of these, you can wire one light to each 87 terminal instead of splitting the one wire to each light as in the picture. I mention this because sometimes it is easier to do this way. This will NOT work with a relay that has an 87A terminal though so don't try it.

toggle switch (HELP)

hey Ive got A 2000 Taco and am trying to find a switch that will fit right in the knock out hole on the left side of the steering column. The hazard push button is the same size so i went to the junkyard a snatched one out of a camry. So what wires do I hook up.I have the cheap explorer single switch kit.It will fit in the slot fine but the dash is to thick to stay clipped in.I know theres a way to do it I have just messed with it so much I am stumped.I really want it to go where the empty slot is.And I really dont want to put the two screw that came with the kit in any plastic>?Any suggestions???????
