I am at about the same point with my truck build, as you are with yours. My next major purchase is going to be 35's (Mickey Thompson MTZ's). Then regear with 5.29's. Then the winch.

This is good to hear. I guess my thing is I know I'll be using the 35's and I liked having a winch on my last 4runner but didn't use it all that often. By the way your truck is coming along very nice.

I've been running on 35's for 2 1/2 years now. Never break CV. If you have front suspenion lift then it will likely break some time.

Voted 35's.

You know if you are really worried about getting stuck--you should get a half naked smoking hot chick........people will just be following you around waiting for you to get stuck....

They will probably even come over to your camp at the end of the day with a girly drink and 30 year bottle of Single malt scotch for you.....

but i did vote--this option wasnt on there though

Is it a whitewater boat, or just lake? If whitewater, where do you go to paddle?

I don't do anything hardcore but I love going to the Buffalo, Kings, and Mulberry.

Well I was leaning in the direction of 35's but it doesn't look like I'm going to get as much out of my current tires as I wanted. So I dropped the hammer and ordered the winch today. Hopefully get some 35's around X-mas time. Thanks for the votes and advice.

Ordered it Tuesday and it showed up today so I tossed it in (pics later). Overall I'm glad I got the winch first but I'm still really looking forward to some 35's
