I've heard that, too. This is what I found on the Amsoil website:

Doesn't say that Amsoil Ea's are made by WIX, but it's weird that they would endorse a product that is pretty much in direct competition to their own. So, perhaps they are made by WIX.

yep, we will ASSume that they are wix filters.. NAPA gold filters are WIX also. good stuff.. i use purolators bc of price and availablility.. either way you can lose... you could go get the orange can of death (fram) for even cheaper but i wouldnt lol
