Rear Diff question

Would a 3rd member rear out of a 91 Taco Truck fit in a 99 4runner? Both using 4.10 gears?

I think as long as the 4runner doesn't have an e=locker. The housings should be be the same.

I thought the Toyota trucks that early had 8.4" rears? Not sure though if it is only the 96 and later non TRDs that had the 8.4 instead of the 8.0.

Im pretty certain they will fit. I had a good link to the different toy 3rd members, but, cant find it. A 91 pickup 3rd will most likely fit in your 99 as long as it doesnt have an elocker.
